Frequently Asked Questions
How does the image rotator work?
Our image rotator uses HTML5 Canvas to transform your images. When you upload an image, it's processed locally in your browser - never uploaded to our servers. You can rotate by preset angles (90°, 180°, 270°) or enter any custom angle.
What's the difference between rotating and flipping?
Rotation turns the image around its center (like spinning a photo). Flipping creates a mirror image - horizontal flip reverses left and right, vertical flip reverses top and bottom. You can combine both operations.
Will I lose quality when rotating?
Our rotator uses high-quality interpolation algorithms to maintain image quality. You can adjust the quality setting (1-100%) to balance between file size and image quality. PNG format is lossless.
Can I rotate images by custom angles?
Yes! You can enter any angle between -360° and 360° in the custom angle input. Negative angles rotate counter-clockwise, positive angles rotate clockwise. Click "Apply" to see the preview.
What image formats are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG, and WebP images. After rotation, you can download in any of these three formats. PNG is recommended for images requiring transparency.
Is there a file size limit?
For optimal performance, we recommend images under 10MB. Since processing happens in your browser, very large images might be slower depending on your device's memory and processing power.
